Some weapons are a bit clumsy to handle, but overall “SpiderHeck” is a fantastic party game. The game’s concept is rounded off by a nice arcade look with fitting music and a number of skins for personalization. It takes some time to get a hang on the controls, but they allow for a surprising amount of agility. You have to swing elegantly through the dangerous arenas, dodge enemy projectiles, collect new weapons and finally knock out your opponents. There is a survival mode where you try to last as long as possible with only three lives. In “SpiderHeck”, eight-legged neon animals jump through futuristic arenas and fight each other with a variety of weapons.
